One can never go wrong with Guru Dutt, He was Brilliant as an actor,director and his films had some top quality songs- CLASS all the way!
Earlier in his career Guru Dutt concentrated on commercially viable projects and came up with a string of successful films like BAAZI, JAAL, CID, AAR PAAR and MR & MRS 55....But these movies did not satisfy him intellectually, he wanted to make a strong statement with a subject, ... ...Mr. and Mrs 55 and Aar Paar.If he had not taken his role of the much misunderstood genius to a level where he even began to let it over take his life style- had he done more comedy and fun filled films he would have rethought about his life and his suicide bid, he probably might have been amongst us today making some tremendous contributions...however, to get back to Aar Paar- Guru Dutt shows his intellect and talent by making a superb film out of ...
