A Year To Remember The War Years (Box Set)

...Finally, the DVD box set i feel i have been waiting for my whole life! Three of the best teen films in the same box, and the best trilogy (apart from the original Star Wars films of course). Can anyone remember the first time they saw Back to the Future Part 1? So many years ago! But if you felf the same way I did, and wanted to travel back in time in a great car, then you will want this box set. Watch the films back to back for an amzing night in - invite all your friends as i bet they all have loved these films too. And i hope you all can spot Elijah Wood's early appearance in Part 2... If you want to know about the special features then thats great! the Box says there are over 5 hours of bonus material - didn't count but it certainly kept me busy for an evening. ...No many films can compare themselves to the first 3 Star Wars films. A few years ago the trilogy was enhanced using special effects and it was only a short wait until the makers of Star Wars found another way to sell the films. The extras disc is quite interesting and useful if you have a spare afternoon to use sit and watch it (rather like the lord of the rings extra discs). The price is also reasonable at around £30 in most shops although, if you have a star wars Ep 3 cinema ticket you get £7.50 off in most shops, including play.com which then works out at only £22.50, which is a great deal! ...The Star Wars films are three of the truly greatest films ever made. I never tire of watching them. My own children now sit in awe as I did when I first watched them. They have it all. Love, honour, villians, and spectacular special effects. Everyone in my family has their favourites and mine is Episode 4, the first one released. Luke is the main hero but its Hans Solo played by Harrison Ford who is unforgetable. He just oozes sex appeal and this film catapulted him to stardom. None of the films have ever looked outdated and have thrilled different generations in the last thirty years. Now with the new release of them, they will no doubt thrill generations to come. If you want to buy a film, buy this box set and lose yourself in the stars.... Read review
