Life In The Freezer - David Attenborough
Review of Life In The Freezer DVD by  ivytoad

Advantages: So interesting, fun to watch, educational
Disadvantages: I want more episodes!!

.... He has such vast knowledge about the world of animals and it is a real pleasure to watch this series. He is so passionate about animals and it really shows. This is a dvd I have found myself watching again. It is not a dvd you buy to only watch once, it is one you will watch for years to come. It really is fascinating It was really hard to pace myself and not watch all the episodes at once! Just because they are really addictive to watch. 'Life In The Freezer' is part of a bigger collection from David Attenborough called 'The Life Collection' which consists of 'The Life Of Birds', 'Trials Of Life', 'Life In The Freezer', 'The Life Of Mammals', 'The Private Life Of Plants', 'The Living Planet, 'Life On Earth' and 'Life In The Undergrowth'. The series producer was Alastair Fothergill and the producers were Martha Holmes, Peter Bassett... Read review

The best dvd in the world.
Review of Simpsons, The - Year One by  charlesatlas

Advantages: funny
Disadvantages: none

...My mum and dad bought me this simpsons dvd last weekend and i've been watching it all week. Every episode is so funny it makes us all laugh until it hurts! Homer is the dad, he works at the nuclear power plant. He loves do-nuts and is very stupid! Marge is the mum, she has to put up with a lot from homer and the kids. Bart is the oldest child - he is very naughty and does not do as he is told at school. He likes to skateboard and has lots of sayings, like eat my shorts and don't have a cow, man! Lisa is his younger sister who is very good at school and plays the saxaphone. Maggie is the baby of the family. I give this dvd 5 stars out of 5. Charlie.... Read review

Shite cast, average effects, generally SHITE
Review of Armageddon DVD by  Kustomed

Advantages: Live Tyler
Disadvantages: The story, the soundtrack.

...in the role, but the part has been played so many times I just want to go to sleep. You just know what going to come out of his mouth. Phrases like “Texas is goin bye bye Mr President” and “God bless America” spring to mind. The greatest military minds [all American of course] figure out that they can just send a “goddamn nuke” up to destroy it. It is in fact so big that if they do this, the asteroid will turn into loads of baby asteroids [which are still incidentally quite large] – and still will shaft earth. Therefore a back up plan is formulated by Thornton and co. They need a team to land on the asteroid itself, drill a bit into it’s centre, plant the nuke inside it – and blow it up internally. If done at the correct moment, the asteroid will then split into two and just miss the earth by a whisker. The trouble is, time is running out... Read review
