...You may remeber the original Stargate film from 1996 starring James Spader. This series follows on from the film. The series mixes science fiction with fantasy and history. It seems we were visited by aliens many years ago who colonised our world and built a stargate in Eqypt, other planets were colonised as well and stargates were left on these worlds. The stargate is a transportation device. The baddies in the film all have an eqyptian feel to them and include Seth among others. The SG1 team is sent forth to explore these new world open up treaties and defeat the ancient evil overlords.... Read review

...stargate series 2 complete set vol1 :The Siege - lt. fords infection of the enzyme from the wraith who tried to suck the life out of him before they both took a blast from a granade during the the first assult from the wraith, and during all of mckays try to do his useal thing coming up with a brilliant idea to save atlantis vol2:The Intruder - now this i enjoyed alot the wraith sent a virus to the ship which was a.i a nano virus the only problem for this virus is like a computer theses alway a way to turn it off vol3:Runner - the team is still continuing there search for Lt. ford still in high hopes in finding him and bringing back home (atlantis) while on there travels they come across a fierce warrior ronon dex (a runner) who happens to know the where abouts of Lt. Advantages: An excellent rip-roaring conclusion to an excellent first part, Tarantino at his best.Pure genius in celluloid.
Disadvantages: A shame there is not a 3rd part to this movie.

...When Tarantino released Kill Bill Vol 1, it was met with wide acclaim, some positive some not so positive, claiming he had just made a bloodfest and was into shocking people, true the original movie was graphic in parts but I believe it paved the way for Vol2. In Vol 1. we see that the charcter played by Uma Thurman has been wronged (to put it mildly) and is merely exacting her perceived revenge for the loss of her child and nearly her life but we know little of the depths of the charcaters. In Vol 2. we get more in depth information relating to the characters in the movie, and we get the cataclysmic ending that just the movie justice. Vol 1 was the jammy sponge for the film and Vol 2 is most definitely the icing and decorations. In both movies we have excellent acting, scripting and direction (as we have come to expect from...
