need to do much except look good and be ill. This film was made just before her role in Bend It Like Beckham, so it obviously didn't do her career any harm, but I wasn't overly impressed. Laurence Fox as Geoff was again good, but not brilliant. My problem with him as an actor is that he always seems the same and I don't really feel that he is acting. Desmond Harrington as Mike is pretty convincing. I didn't like him as a character, but I thought Harrington worked well within the role - he wasn't really supposed to be a likable character anyway. Daniel Brocklebank as Martyn only has a brief role, but it was suitably a good mixture of creepiness and intelligence - good stuff.
I liked the way that the story is told. It begins with Liz's escape from the hole; we see her filthy and injured, staggering back to the school that she attends to ...

Holein the Wall is a TV game show, currently showing on the BBC and in America, on the Fox Network. The show has been 'Americanised' from a Japanese concept show called 'Brain Wall', also known as 'Human Tetris' on YouTube. Basically, two teams of three take it turns to fit through different shaped holesin a wall. Sounds easy, except if you don't fit, you fall in pool of water - gutted!
The show can be found on the beeb on Saturday early evening, presented by Dale Winton. The two teams have 'celebrity' captains, who are Anton DuBeck and Darren Gough (has a strictly theme officially started now for Saturdays?). The team changes each week and consists of random has-beens that no-one has ever heard of...apart from the Cheeky Girls, and they've been on, and they're like Celebrity Royalty aren't they! ...Aren't they?

We give the world Who wants to be a Millionaire and what do we get in return? We get Holein the Wall!! Somehow this is Saturday night TV gone mental as the fact is that I was actually hooked on this after one episode in the same way that I was with the Channel Five show Night Fever.
Originating from the Japanese game show called Tonneruzu, the premise is simple. The wall accelerates towards the game zone and the contestants have to fit through the space in the wall by means of the shape that has been cut out, whether it is a stance, a position or simply a hole. If they don't then they end up in a pool of water, bottom line is they have to adopt the shape to get through the wall and win points.

DVD Description
In this Frank Capra comedy-drama, widower Tony Manetta (Frank Sinatra) is a small-time hotel owner with delusions of grandeur. He seeks help from his wealthy brother (Edward G Robinson) and his wife, who regard him as a worthless dreamer, who's too irresponsible to look after his young son. Instead of giving him a loan, they travel to Florida to take the boy away from him. Then the couple comes up with another solution: finding Tony a suitable widow to wed. Their neat little plan runs into obstacles, however--like Tony's girlfriend. Besides, Tony has a dream of his own that he's willing to work towards...
