about a wealth of different animals, as well as providing plenty of opportunity foe singing, dancing and joining-in activities.It includes favourite animal songs, such as Old MacDonald and Baa Baa Black Sheep, and animated action rhymes including This Is The Way We Wash Our Face and This Little Pig. These are accompanied by live action, showing animals from puppies and kittens to lions and giraffes - and the words appear on to encourage children to sing along!

Overview:
The good points about this show is that it is like one big movie totalling to about 50 episodes with a full motion picture movie at the end of it all, so I think if you like the first four episodes it will be worth watching to the end. Although as there are only four episodes on each DVD this can and will get very expensive that's probably the only downside I can think of apart from the animation not being the best around, although after you get into the story you can easily look past that.
I recommend this show for anyone really especially for people who like the Anime style for starters, but also anyone who likes sci-fi movies and stuff or anyone who just wants to try something new. ...
When I was on holiday a couple of weeks ago for some reason I suddenly decided I want to buy The Full Monty on DVD when I got back. I am not sure where this came from, maybe it was from seeing so many near naked bodies by the pool? Anyway....
The Full Monty originally came out in 1997, and was a film I enjoyed watching as a youngster. I recently went into Asda and found this DVD for 4 pounds and so purchased straight away.
The film is based in Sheffield, where there was once a thriving steel industry. Fast forward to the 90's though and that has all changed. The people who were once working in the steel companies are now unemployed spending their days down the job club or trying to find another way to make some money.
The main character of the film is Gary (played by Robert Carlyle), he was once a worker in the steel factory ...
, cluttering up the kitchen but the man is comic genius, and Animals is one of his best shows.
I saw the show live, and the DVD has been watched numerous times. It is still hard not to raise a smile when Ricky explains to the audience about this new theory that contradicts Darwin's version of events that he 'found in a dusty old book in the library'... 'It's called the bible.. '.. 'And it's called The Gospel - so it must be true - clue's in the name!'
The show goes on, covering everything from Sharks and Nazis - "sharks good, nazis less so.." to homosexuality in the jungle and of course the tale of Adam and Eve and how the poor snake was forced to crawl on his belly for the rest of his days - "not the worst possible punishment for a snake.." A fabulous DVD and a wonderful show. Check out the 'extras' on the DVD if you are still unconvinced ...
