It's so good, travelling in the Rush Hour
Review of Rush Hour DVD by FarQRecords

Advantages:
Disadvantages:

...This film is well funny. Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan team up in this gag a minute movie. Tucker and Chan both star as cops, 1 from America, 1 from Hong Kong who are looking for a missing child. The FBI want them kept out of the way but they research the case themselves leading to a great storyline twist as we findout who the unknown hong kong crime lord is. Featuring a lot of great typical Jackie Chan stunts and kung-fu action added in with Tucker's sarcasm, this really is a hugely funny action movie and well worth watching.... Read review

Hong Kong at its best once again
Review of Gen X Cops (Wide Screen) by pisces1973

Advantages: Great action, great fun
Disadvantages: None

...As you may be able to tell already, I do love my Hong Kong movies. I watched this one a few years back and still own it on DVD along with the sequel Gen Y Cops. I primarily bought this as Stephen Fung and Nicholas Tse were in it after seeing them together in the film 2002. I then saw this movie of them together and decided to buy Gen x Cops on DVD. This is a fun movie to watch and there is really no need for subtitles half the movie is in English anyway. I know most of it is in Cantonese, a little Japanese, but the majority is English. The cast line is excellent with most of the big stars in hong kong securing fantastic characters within the story, stars such as , Toru Nakamura, Francis Ng, Sam Lee, Daniel Wu, Eric Tsang and Terrence Yin If you love Hong Kong action movies with lots of fight sequences then you will love this movie... The original bruce lee film
Review of The Big Boss (Limited Edition) by Xanderd

Advantages: Bruce Lee's charismatic and technically perfect fighting techniques.
Disadvantages: One of the weaker of Bruces' films???

...The first Bruce Lee film, some say the best, but I disagree. For a 1970's Hong Kong film, it boasts a strong plotline, but this may still leave western audiences wanting more when compared to modern day features. The film has had many edits and cuts over the years, the most famous being the 'saw in the head' scene; one of the frequent gore scenes to which Hong Kong audiences were accustomed, but were too shocking to be included in home releases, especially in the 1970's. Hong Kong Legends has re-mastered the film in a new DVD, which I would recommend to all action fans, strongly recommend to martial arts fans, and deem indispensible for the serious Bruce Lee fan....
