Advantages: Unusual comedy with fantastic visual effects Disadvantages: Won't appeal to people who dislike originality and surreal humour
..., and the audience is introduced to some colourful (dead) characters whenever Adam and Barbara visit for advice or counsel, such as an American Football team (who died in a plane crash), a suicide victim who is still hanging from the noose that killed him and an old woman who breathes through her (slit) throat (who died from smoking; she acts as their guide and help). Advantages: Only £2 per film, Care Bears are great! Disadvantages: Not good version of Tom's Midnight Garden, No English on ADGTH
..., German it is….there's lots of "du bists" and "ich bins"

Then there's a little boy called David who has run away from home who is friends with Sasha. Basically they have to get the horn back from the nasty characters.
There's lots of songs (it's quite Disney-ish), most of which are still in English despite it being the German version...

Advantages: Karloff, Johann, Freund, the make up and chilling atmosphere Disadvantages: The new Mummy movies have kind of made people forgot
...several video games made since the 1999 update, and I just came back from Universal Studios in Hollywood, where one of the best rides in the theme park was "The Revenge of the Mummy." When I came back the tour guide asked what I thought of it. My reply was, "I liked it, though just one still of Boris Karloff would be nice. Wishful thinking, I know!" The tour guide agreed and echoed what I wanted to say that all this modern Mummy stuff would not exist would it not be for the 1932 original.
Still, Universal Studios has given THE MUMMY a deluxe treatment on DVD, with an audio commentary, an original documentary called "Mummy Dearest: A Horror Tradition Unleashed," original previews and dozens of stills. On these bonus features, you will find much more history and stories about the original that this review couldn't suffice, along...
