~~~~~~~~~~ The Story ~~~~~~~~~~
A Cinerella story is basically a film version of the actual fairy tale. Although with a lot more drama and hositility towards the evil step mother!!
Hillary Duff has the leading role in this film as Cinderella aka Samantha/Sam Montgomery.
The story starts off with Sam describing her .perfect world, "The Valley" in which she lived, she had everything she could ever want. Her Dad was her best friend and gave her anything she wanted, she used to hang out at his Hal's, her Dad's diner, she knew all the staff and viewed them all as a really close family.
Then one day her Dad meets a wicked self-obsessed woman called Fiona. Unfortunetly her Dad falls in love with Fiona and they get married. After they get married, Fiona moves in with to Hal and Sam's house, she brings along her two wicked daughters, which truly make life hell for Sam.
One night there is an earthquake and Hal leaves Sam standing in a doorway to go save Fiona. Unfortunely Hal dies and this leaves Fiona as the sole guardian of Sam. Unfortunetly Hal didn't leave a will and so Fiona gets everything, the house, the buisness and most upsetting Sam!!!!!
Fiona is truly evil to Fiona, she makes her
get up early and make her breakfast, she makes her work long hours at the diner and won't fund her college education. Sam is expected to work around the clock to pay for it herself, even though she is a Grade A student and asks Fiona for nothing other than to go to college!!
One day Sam meets someone online, she falls head over heels for him. They go to the same school but have never met, or have they? The boy she falls for is one of the "cool kids". Austin Aimes, was captain of the football team and idolised by pretty much every girl in school. As you probably guessed Sam is one of the less cooler kids and her best friend is nothing more than a geeky sidekick.
Her internet love (Austin) although they don't know who each other are, arrange to meet at the school halloween disco. At first Sam is unsure of going, wicked Fiona makes her work all night in the diner and so there is no way she can go. Fortuenetly her friends at the diner cover for her and even give her a beautiful wedding dress she can wear to the disco (so this makes her cinerella). Austin dresses up as Prince Charming, oh how romatic!!! lol So they meet at the disco and Sam is surprised to learn that Austin is her secret admirer. Sam is wearing a mask and so does not realise that Sam is Sam. Unfortunely in true cinderella style Sam has to rush back to the diner by 12am otherwise Fiona will find out she wasn't working all night. Sam drops her mobile phone and Ausin picks it up.
For days Ausin has no idea he is in love with Sam and although she serves him most days at the diner, he still has no idea it is her. Sam is desperate to tell him that she is Cinderella, but will he still like her? It's a total teenage drama :o
Austin is in search of Cinderella and eventually Sam is found out and Austin's evil ex girfriend declares the news to the whole school before Sam had the chance to explain to Ausin herself.....
It is a true Cinerella story but do Ausin and Cinderella end up together? Guess you gotta go see it to find out :p
Fiona loves nothing or no-one but herself. Frequently making visits to the diner to take money fromt he till so she can pay for her botox or lipo!! She is a total barbie doll, but she doesn't even look that good!! She uses plastic surgery, lipo and waaaaaaaay too much botox waaay too frequently. She is totally self-obsessed, but since this is a film, it only proves too interesting and funny to watch!!

When I saw this as a trailer a few months ago, I almost died, Hillary Duff's album rawks and she plays most of the soudtrack to this film, so straight away I loved it. There is also the minor details that herself and Chad Michael played the main roles!!! Another thing I was all :o at So with a super cast and a great soundtrack I was practically queing three months early!!! The finale came when at the end of the trailer when Hillary Duff wears a pair of converse allstars and they're pink!!!! Can ya see where I'm goin with this one, they are sooo cool, so straight away I had made up my mind to go see it!!
There isn't really any surprises with this one, it is basically a hyped up version of Cinerella. It's good and as its only rated a PG is obviously suitable for children. Although maybe not too you.
It has it's funny moments so I guess it could be a kinda romatic comedy. It's pretty much a teen film, but I don't see any reason why adults wouldn't enjoy it either. It is pretty good :)

Hell yea!! it's a really good film although it is predictable, afterall its a remake of a fairy tale! It's gotta be good!

Advantages: Chad Michael Murray's looks Disadvantages: Predictable, boring, Hilary Duff acting like herself yet again, poor comedy, really unoriginal, idea just wasn’t executed well, lacklustre script, bad direction, terrible soundtrack mainly because Duff sings the majority of the songs.
