Advantages: A good introduction to Kit Cars Disadvantages: None that I can think of.
It's 12:30pm on a Saturday afternoon and I am channel hopping the satelitte and I notice that Discover Home & Leisure are re-airing their series on building your own kitcar.
I have already watched Mark Evans build his car and a plane (subject of a future op.) but am keen to build my own car so I have decided to watch the series again.
Essentially, Mark is building a Cobra replica using a Ford Sierra!!
There are various ways of buying/building a kit. You can buy the bits and pay a specialist company to do the whole lot; you can buy a rolling chassis and have to organise the bodywork, upholstery etc.; or, like Mark, you buy a kit which comprises of the chassis, fibre glass coachwork, lights and all the gubbins like that, and you also buy a donor car which will provide the mechanical elements such as wheel hubs, steering etc. In ...

Advantages: Bright, colourful, gripping story Disadvantages: May seem dated, purely fictional story
introduction to opera and Mozart, as it is packed full of his music. And if anyone says that this film isn't true to the play, neither are true to history. And besides, Peter Shaffer who wrote the play helped co-write the film. So I don't think it matters in the slightest.

If I've got you interested in 'Amadeus', the DVD has a few extra features. I've been searching the web and I can't find what these are? I only watched the DVD, I don't actually own it. All I can find is the two disk directors cut edition. But the version selling here is the single disk version. If I remember correctly, it had a lengthy list of credits, and some information about the making of the scenery. There aren't enough extras really, so I suggest the 2 disk version. Join Lightning McQueen, the superstar race car, on his adventure to conquer Dinoco. The animation of this film is incredible, it almost looks real.
My favorite character is the ever funny Mater. The hillbilly tow truck takes pride in his backwards driving, and will keep you laughing!
My sons both love the movie, and will watch it over and over again. It's good for me, I can watch it with them everytime!
This movie offers everything...it is funny....it is serious...and in the end sends a good message as McQueen gives up his title with Dinoco to The King. You will enjoy the music too!
This is one DVD that you will want to purchase and watch again and again.
The whole movie is entertaining, and since kids love Cars, what could be better? ...
