AS Revision Business Studies DVD

Advantages: Studying it in an AS film course is easy : )
Disadvantages: Watching it elsewhere is rather dull

...in a fairly average way, with standard camera shots being used, and your typical 'Scottish' music in the background of some scenes. There are no effects to speak of, but then, there are none required. As you can probably tell from this review, I'm not good at being very harsh, and I have tried to pick some positives out of this film. However, I wouldn't recommend it. Unless of course, you are also studying AS Film, in which case, its bargain bucket price tag makes it the perfect revision aide!... Read review

...'t think anyone truly explained the word Belgium to the performers or it wouldn't have been used where it was, very poorly. I think the gun shoot-out on Arthur's lawn was a revised version of the shooty & bang-bang galactic cops scene from the series. The slapstick "thinking" scene on Vogsphere was bloody dire & pointless. trillian lent nothing new to her own role, no-one seemed to have researched Zaphod's outfit @ the islington party where Arthur & trillian meet. What was all this about Arthur's job @ the BBC, that must have been cut as it was never even hinted at. the John Malkovitch scenes were pointless, go get into a storyline that isn't concluded. i think the DVD release will have so much to put back into the film. I get the point this was 2hrs 30 minutes long & cut badly to fit under 2 hrs. Go see it for yourself. I just wish i could go... Read review

...This movie is a must for your video collection, it's one of my all time favourite movies. Tom Cruise gets back to New York and tried to find a job, this is when he juggles his business degree course with working behind a bar in a pub. Everyone knows that socialising and having fun in a pub is better than studying and putting up with an arrogant lecturer, Tom soon figures this out. After getting heartbroken over a bet to bed a woman, he heads for Jamaica to start up his own bar which is where he meets his future wife. This is a great movie and everyone should have it in their video collection!... Read review
