...This film kind of reminded me of the book The Great Gatsby. It centres around rich, beautiful and idle people who seize on anything new or different to enliven their jaded lives. Ripley, played by Matt Damon, is sent to persuade Jude Law’s character to return to America from Italy. Ripley gets caught up in the glamour of Jude Law’s and Gywneth Paltrow’s (who plays Law’s girlfriend) lives. He uses a false identity of someone who was at Princeton at the same time as Law to become close to them. Everything proceeds swimmingly and Ripley starts to love this type of life but then Law becomes bored with his new friend and casually dismisses him. Neither Ripley nor Law’s characters are particularly pleasant people. Ripley is particularly creepy in the way that he becomes attached to Law and the lifestyle. ...I have watched both the original Pyscho and the new version. And without a doubt The Hitchcock version is by far the best. There is something about the original that steams over the revised version. Norman Bates was more convincing, the setting was more convincing, in fact the whole movie was. Don't get me wrong the new movie has it's place, youngster probably wouldn't watch the original even though we know its better. However, they would watch one at the movies. The two films do run parallel in storyline, most of the time. But in my opinion you can't usually beat the originals....

Advantages: will smith, amazing visual affects, converse 04's Disadvantages: needs more weapon power!
...Its 2035 and as technology has advanced the creation of robots has become very sophisticated with the invention of a robot by a robotics company named "USR" who invent a robot called the "Ns-4" to revolutionise the way people live their lives by helping their owners to do any tasks required by being fully interactive with their owners.
Will smith plays the role of Detective Spooner, a homocide detective with a major dislike and distrust of the robots which other characters in the film find nobody understands as the robots all follow the 3 laws of robotics, "3 laws safe", these 3 laws are:
~1st law ~ The robot must not harm any human or let a human come to any harm.
~2nd law ~ robots must obey all orders given to them unless it conflicts with the 1st law.
~3rd law~ robots may protect themsleves unless it conflicts with laws 1 and 2...
