Advantages: Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith Disadvantages: Boring, no storyline, a real let down
...Like most I loved the first Men in Black film. So I had high expectations for the sequal.
However it was quite clear from early on that this film really had no story line. There was no chemistry between the two main characters, none of the chemistry that made the first film a hit.
Some half hearted laughs came from the usual one liners from Will Smith. Nothing to the standard of his Fresh prince days though.
The only real reason to buy it when its realised on video/DVD is for the children. It will keep then quiet for a rather short 80minutes, compared to 120minutes roughly of most films.
My suggestion is to leave it. If you are really bored one night then rent it out on DVD. The cutouts/extras will make better viewing than the film....

Advantages: high-spirited, effervescent bard frolics! Disadvantages: not so amusing as the original
...-- Bianca's bubbly and wildly popular, while tempestuous Kat is a hard-line feminist who's indifferent to peer acceptance. Much to Bianca's dismay, both of them are forbidden to date by decree of their overprotective father (Larry Miller), who tweaks the longstanding rule at the beginning of the picture to allow her to date once her older sister finds a suitor as well. "But she's a mutant!" Bianca cries. "What if she never dates?" Anxious to woo Bianca, two dueling suitors -- model Joey (Andrew Keegan) and nice guy Cameron (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) -- embark on a scheme to set up the notoriously hostile Kat with a new boyfriend, and resort to the outlawish new bad boy in town, Patrick Verona (Heath Ledger).
The reworking of the story becomes rather creaky at times, and the 'teen film' formula providing the support for this revised tale...

Advantages: Can be quite funny at times, Leslie Nielsen - he'd make EastEnders look funny!, Disadvantages: A bit daft, but thats what comedies are for!
...Well I have to hand it to this film....
considering i'm neither a fan of films starring vampires, nor a fan of Buffy the vampire slayer, this film is pretty good!
(Believe me on this one.... although it's going to sound rubbish, it really is worth a watch!)
"Dracula: Dead and loving it" was shown on Channel 4 Tuesday (11th Dec.) night, seen as there was absolutely nothing else on to watch I thought i'd give it a go.
Why?
Well because I had two choices:
(a) Revise for my January chemistry and biology exams
or
(b) watch this film....
obviously (b) won!
Also the fact that this film stars Leslie Nielsen (the star of the "Naked Gun" films... of which I loved!).
~ In brief ~
Starring:
Count Dracula - Leslie Nielsen
Renfield - Peter MacNicol
Jonathon Harker - Steven Weber
Mina - Amy Yasbeck
Lucy - Lysette Anthony
