Advantages: insight to events unknown, optional subtitles Disadvantages: harrowing scenes and sounds
This is a harrowing account of New Yorks worse day, 9/11.
To begin with the filmmakers, Guedeon and Jules Naudet are making a documentary about a rookie firefighter in a New York firehouse, Engine 7, ladder 1, what they actually capture on film is disturbing, frightening and upsetting for even the toughest of people.
This is an accurate account of what happened on that day, from the first plane hitting, the only footage in existence, to the conditions inside the Towers and the aftermath of the collapses and the search and rescue operations and is testament to the bravery of the firefighters, police, and ordinary people caught up in this tragedy.
From the beginning of the film to the end , you are willing the firefighters from 'the house' to make it out of the the Towers and to be safe, you get that involved in what you are watching ...

Advantages: Challenges Michael Moore concisely and directly. Disadvantages: Not enough material, over the top patriotism.
[Note 24/03/05: Once again Ciao have closed the Fahrenhype 9/11 category and moved my review to a Fahrenheit 9/11 section. I already have a review on that film. This is of a completely different film that is a reply to that film, albeit with a similar name. As such, please do not rate this as off-topic despite it being within the wrong category. I have emailed Ciao and asked for this to be resolved.]
Alan Peterson?s Fahrenhype 9/11 is the first of several documentaries attempting to challenge or debunk Michael Moore. It?s quite incredible that one man can evoke such controversy as to cause this, but I suppose it should be expected. This film focuses solely on debunking the content of Fahrenheit 9/11, and leaves the rest of Moore?s work to the others.
I wrote in my review of Fahrenheit 9/11 about my relationship with Moore ...
