So as a plan to stop Troy and Gabriella from going to the call-backs, Chad – Troy’s Basketball friend and Taylor – Gabriella friend from the science club try and put them both of each other. It works but soon enough Chad and Taylor feel bad and reunite the pair just in time for there call-back, where they “Break Free”. Finally they all gather at the basketball game where the Wildcats win and they all break into song, “We’re All In This Together”. On the DVD you get the choice to see the original movie or have it as” Sing-Along”. The DVD also comes with extras, which include; Featurette, The Making Of, Music videos and Commentary. ...Very good quality DVD,so good I have watched it so many times!! Well, the story is of two teenagers, called Gabriella and Troy, who meet at a New Years Eve party and end up singing together. They swap numbers afterwards but lose touch and it seems the story is already over, until the new year at East High. This is Troys school, and Gabriella ends up moving there, and the two are reunited! They both sign up for parts in the schools winter musicale, but Ryan and Sharpay pull out all the stops to try and prevent them from auditioning. Many pop songs ensue, and the finale ends with the Number 1 single 'Breaking Free'. Everything ends happily when the Wildcats win the state championship, and the scholastic decathlon is won by Gabriella and her team. Cant wait until High School Musical 2 comes out!... Read review

...more precisely Zac Efron as the most successful track was. Whilst all the tracks are corny and banal, there is something you shall love about them nonetheless, my favourite from the sequel being 'You are the Music in Me' although that only peaked at #31, which I am furious about! Zac Efron has been the breakout star from High School Musical, with an appearance in the more adult musical of 'Hairspray', and has sinced been deemed at the age of twenty as a star to watch, and undoubtedly the 5'8 star is likely to be popular for all sorts of teenage roles. Infact, I'm sure in about five years time he shall be frantically trying to shake off that image in a similar way to Daniel Radcliffe, who went from Harry Potter to star in the unusual 'Equus'.
