8-Mile - Every moment is another chance
I'm doing this review based on the DVD version of this film. 8-Mile is rated a 15 so it is only suitable for people aged over 15 due to some sexual scenes in the film.
The Cast
The main characters within the cast of this film are the famous white rapper Eminem, Kim Bassinger, Brittany Murphy, Mekhi Phifer. All the cast within this film are brilliant actors making the film realistic and helping you really get into the film. Each character is well suited to the part they play making the people within the film realistic helping drag you in all most like you are part of the film.
Story Line
The film is mainly about a group of young people in an American rapping community, Rabbit played by Eminem is a brilliant rapper working his way up trying to get himself known and make something of himself and a living at the same time. He has a troubled family his mother being an alcoholic and also having to look after his younger sister. Rabbit and his friends go to rap battles regularly a chance to show everyone just how good they are.
To find out more about this films story line you're going to have to watch it as don't want to give anymore of the story line away.
I feel it has a very catchy story line that you can really get into and is very easy to follow.
Sound Track
Most of the sound tracks are by Eminem and other famous rappers that really fit in with the film and also the part of the film they are played in. The music also helps get you into the feel of the film. A lot of it is very though provoking music. I'm personally a fan of rap music so if you are you will love the sound tracks within this film.

Quality
Both sound and picture quality of this DVD are brilliant it has sharp picture quality and amazing sound quality making the rapping come to life as music is what this DVD is based on. It's a very good quality DVD throughout the film can't fault it at all.
Price & Availability
This DVD all though around 9 years old is still available in shops I have recently seen it available in Tesco extra and Asda. It's also available online from various places and it's probably available in places such as HMV and other stores that sell DVDs. You can buy a copy of this for around £5-£8 which is a bargain and well worth getting, even if you decide it's not your thing it's not major money lost.
Recommendation
I would defiantly recommend this DVD, especially to anyone who likes Eminem or rap music in general. It is definitely not suitable for anyone under 16s as to why it is rated a 15 and I would definitely agree with this rating.
Definitely a 5 star rated DVD from me I love it and hope others will/do as much as I do.
