64 Zoo Lane - The Story Of Boris The Bear DVD

Advantages: Wonderful music, great animation, unique storyline
Disadvantages: None! (maybe the length of it..)

...line is very easy to follow, and not only do the pictures tell a story but the music also does. The film has a 'U' certificate which means that it is suitable for all. I agree with this certificate since I find that it is a film that is suitable for the whole family. The total running time of the film is only 26 minutes! But I think it tells a complete story, I don't think that it needs to be any longer than it is and I didn't enjoy it any less because it was that short. There is not an option for a scene selection on the dvd, which is normally a feature on dvds, but with such a short film time it is not really required. There are two special features on the dvd. Advantages: Pretty good British film!
Disadvantages: Not too dis-similar from "Lock Stock"

...If you have seen and more to the point enjoyed "Lock Stock" then you more than likely will enjoy "snatch". The reason? they are similar. Why are they so similar? what else can british film makers make a film about? Yes another film about the London ganglands. The film however is not bad in its self, pretty good acting from most people, especially Brad Pitt. Generally quite easy to watch aswell, somewhat unlike the more confusing "Lock Stock" The only confusing bit is remembering the film you are watching as many of the "Lock Stock" actors are also in Snatch! So the story goes that Franky 4 fingers steals a diamond-a damn huge diamond. A Russian guy-Boris the Blade hears of this diamond. Boris tells 4 fingers to put a bet on for him on a fight that will occur meanwhile getting another group to rob the bookies when 4 fingers gets... Read review

Advantages: funny, easy watch
Disadvantages: Abstract, strange, different

...The Mighty Boosh originaly aired on BBC3 and is a succesful british of the wall comedy. Series 1 is situated in a zoo where the two main characters, Vince Noir (Noel Fielding) and Howard Moon (Julian Barratt). are zoo keepers and go on many random expenditions. Episodes such as 'Hitcher' Involve Vince and Howard transporting a criminal bear to a animal prison when a cockney, big thumbed hitch hiker takes the pair prisoner. The Second series branched out from the zoo and each episode has its own setting. In One episode (Milky Joe) the pair get stranded on a desert island and make friends with coconuts, a must see episode. Other main chacters include 'bolo' the gorilla. and naboo (Michael Fielding) a shaman. A very british comedy, with a humour for a selected few. A up to date 'monty python' like humour... Read review
