Advantages: Funny animated film for all ages
Disadvantages: A bit short

...I like a good animated movie and wasn't disappointed when i sat down one night and watched the new release Madagascar. Madagascar is a story about four animals living in a New York Zoo:- Alex -A Lion which is the zoo's main attraction who loves being the centre of attention (Ben Stiller) Marty - A depressed zebra who dreams of a better life outside the zoo. (Chris Rock) Melman - A hypochondriac giraffe (David Schwimmer) Gloria - A straight talking, down to earth Hippo (Jada Pinkett-Smith). The Plot Marty's dreams and desire to be free get the better of him on his birthday and he decides to break free from zoo to seek his freedom in the wild where he believes he belongs but his 3 friends get worried about his disappearance and decide to go out to find there lost friend. Advantages: V amusing!
Disadvantages: Not quite long enough

...This is a film I can happily watch again and again. It has an interesting storyline full of jokes that will make you chuckle everytime. Madagascar is about a lion and his group of best friends from the zoo (a zebra, giraffe and hippo) and the adventure they have when stranded on the island of Madagascar. It is a classic tale of a friendship put to the test and you find yourself sympathising with the characters as the story unfolds. The cast is great and really adds to the film and the characters themselves are well thought out and really draw the viewer in to their world. This is a film that will appeal to children for sure, but also to anyone who enjoys a simple film that will make you laugh and leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy. Definitely worth a watch.... ...When four animals that live in New Yorks Central zoo find themselves stranded on the beautiful exotic island of Madagascar. They soon realise how much of a jungle it really is! It's all about Marty the zebra who wants to live in the wild rather than a zoo. So he leaves the zoo in search for the wild where he wants to be. But his friends go looking for him and they soon end up in trouble and are transported to Madagascar. Alex the lion then begins to get hungry and they dont have any food for him, so he begins to see marty as food. But do they manage to get back to their beloved zoo? Watch this great film and find out. Its fun for all the family. overall a great film! This film is full of jokes and funny moments and i loved it!.
