...The Mighty Boosh originaly aired on BBC3 and is a succesful british of the wall comedy.
Series 1 is situated in a zoo where the two main characters, Vince Noir (Noel Fielding) and Howard Moon (Julian Barratt). are zoo keepers and go on many random expenditions. Episodes such as 'Hitcher' Involve Vince and Howard transporting a criminal bear to a animal prison when a cockney, big thumbed hitch hiker takes the pair prisoner.
The Second series branched out from the zoo and each episode has its own setting. In One episode (Milky Joe) the pair get stranded on a desert island and make friends with coconuts, a must see episode.
Other main chacters include 'bolo' the gorilla. and naboo (Michael Fielding) a shaman.
A very british comedy, with a humour for a selected few.
A up to date 'monty python' like humour...

Advantages: Great variety of stories Disadvantages: None
...I wasn't familiar with Curious George before my 3-year-old son was given this DVD as a gift, but he's now a firm favourite.
The DVD features eight short stories including Zoo Night - George visits the baby panda at the zoo and ends up accidentally releasing all the animals; From Scratch - George has to work out who caused the scratches the cat's been wrongly accused of; and Curious George Discovers the 'Poles in which he's given some tadpoles to look after and learns about the cycle of life.
George is curious and occasionally mischievous without being naughty and, though these stories are great fun, they're also stealthily educational, teaching problem-solving without being preachy or boring.
Great fun and a fabulously funky soundtrack to boot!...
