...This is a great DVD showcasing series 1 to 4 in a nicely presented box set, thats all twenty-four episodes including 'The End', 'Future Echoes', 'Balance Of Power', 'Waiting For God', 'Confidence And Paranoia', 'Me2'... If your looking for the added extra's and smeg up's of this popular TV comedy then unfortunately these aren't included. For the die hard Red Dwarf fans out there you might prefer to buy the separate series box sets with all the added extra's, but if all your looking for a nice compact DVD box set of the first 4 series (which are the best in my opinion) then its definately worth buying. At around the same price as buying two separate series DVD's its great value for money too.... Read review

...series 1 meet andy millian(ricky gervais), a very desperate man, hes been an actor for 5 years yet has never actually acted before. this is all due to his totally usless agent (stephen merchant), who only manages to get andy usless parts as an extra around film sets. andys one and only friend in the buisness is another extra Maggie (Ashley Jenson). extras is an amazingly funny comedy from ricky gervais and stephen merchant and stars them both. and every episode takes place on a totally different film set and features apperacnces from stars like, Ben Stiller, Samuel L Jackson, Ross Kemp, Kate Winslet, Les Dennis and Patrick Stewart. ...I bought this DVD when it came out last year so now it's time to review it. Basically early doors is set in a small pub up north called The Grapes .Where everyday when the clock strikes 5.30 a crowd of 5 arrives and whinge , moan and talk about how boring and dull life is Don't let this put you off though as it truly is an excellent series. The show like all good comedy's has some very lovable characters; Tommy, the miserable old sod who goes to the pub to avoid loneliness at home, then sits on his own; Eddie , the boring bloke in the corner who spends his life talking about traffic congestion and Jean , Kens(landlord) mum who eats his profits away , quite literally. I really do recommend this DVD to all comedy lovers out there, Series 2 is currently been re-shown on BBC 1 on Thursday nights at 10:45 so take a look at this genius... Read review
