50 Great Premiership Goals - Vol. 5 DVD

Advantages: About 10 good goals
Disadvantages: 240 rubbish goals, poor case, picture quality, slow replays (to name a few)

..., there is a catch!! There are 5 volumes consisting of 50 goals each. So you may be conned! Fortunately, I do believe that my DVD had all 5 volumes rolled into one, but be careful! As I have already mentioned the quality of goals is shockingly poor. Tap-ins, mis-hits, goalkeeper fumbles, bad marking - you name a defensive error leading to a goal and it is on this DVD. There are even a few penalties that make it into the list! Shocking! To add to this, the DVD is full of slow repetitive replays that waste time and show far too much of the goal at far too slow a speed. The commentary is also dreadful and putting the DVD on mute and listening to some other music is definitely advisable. All of the goals are taken from 1992-99 and so are full of yester-years footballers, such as Brian Deane and Eric Cantona! I'm sure there must be modern great goal videos... Read review

...Arsenal is one of the biggest football clubs in the world, in this club big names come and big names go however legends like thierry henry always and dennis bergkamp cannot be replaced. thierry henry is a magician on the pitch he makes world class players look like amatuers. Henry has been lured to Barcelona were i think he will be even better. Arsenal have made the same mistake manchester united made when they let go of ruud van nisteroy. however im sure we will come back fighting for the premiership title. henry goals are out of this world he is the best striker in the world and dennis bergkamp i think has the most powerfulest shot ever great video .arsenal the best... ...As i am a liverpool fan i thought this dvd was fantastic to watch and to purchase, it has full value for money in my opinion, you get to relive the whole season in the champions league and how we won the champions league for 5 times, from all the amazing goals, from hyypia to baros, to all the interviews, which include risse, gerrard, carragher, beneitez and many more members from the club, i also thought the graphics and theme tune to the dvd was excellent, it last a fair while aswell, from a team finishing 5tth in the premiership winning the champions league, it just shows what a fantastic rafa did in the 2005 season to win liverpool the champions legaue, and you can relive this all over again when you purchase this dvd....
