50 First Dates wasn't as good as I had hoped! I was told that it was good but I didn't think that it was that funny, I like Adam Sandler films but this wasn't as good as Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore etc. I think it was trying to be a cool teen flick and a romance and a comedy mixed badly into one! Groundhog Day is, on the other hand, HALARIOUS! its very clever, if you havn't seen this film then you NEED to get it! It a good combo of good acting and a good storyline, its simple but done so well. I loved watching the same thing happen everyday as Phil Connors (Bill Murray) trys to figure it all out! an amazing film that you have to see before you die!
I see you've posted this as a DVD review, but you've not mentioned the DVD. Are there any extras? If so, what are they and are they any good? If you add to this, or if you change it to be posted as a "Film Only" review, which can be done by accessing "edit review" above the review and changing the drop down menu under the "Which format are you reviewing?" question at the bottom, please let me know and I'll re-rate.
