Advantages: Sandler, simple Disadvantages: Not enthralling or with any big story to grab you
Movie marathon at a girls...well we need to watch some Rom-coms (Along Came Polly being another)...sadly it seems comedy or chick flicks is all she has...and I forgot to bring mine when I legged it up north whilst suffering a murderous hangover (I wish I'd thought that over, but alas, my lifes more of a mess). So with over 100 movies to pick from, I think were about 1/2 way through now and with all the Adam Sandler movies gone (see also recent review ... ...hill and ending up with me smashing Black Beauty and chasing here around with a snapped disk trying to kill her. But anyway back onto the movie a hand good old Adam Sandler plays Henry Roth a fish vet (for sake of easiness to spell) who finds a gir he likes...only problem...she's forgetful...in the extreme.
With this premise Sandlers character needs to repeatedly date said girl who thinks the day is always the same after some car crash (i.e. groundhog ...

Advantages: great film Disadvantages: n/a
It took me forever to find this film and I must say that I was not disappointed when I found it, it is a great film with Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler, and although I have not really been a big fan of his he was fantastic in this film.
This film is about Marine biologist Henry Roth played by Adam Sandler where he finds the perfect woman, Lucy Whitmore played by Drew Barrymore and he falls head over heels in love for her. The following day when ... ...which shocks Henry and makes him think that she does not like him, what he does not realise is Lucy suffers from severe memory loss which wipes her brain clean so every morning she wakes up not remembering the day before after a car accident many years ago, So Henry has to help find a way to get Lucy to remember him and ways to make her life better after living for years with this memory loss.
Unfortunately Lucy's family and friends do not help ...

Advantages: Very funny film Disadvantages: Can't think of any!!
...I heard about this film through TV trailers, and ended up buying it on DVD. Skeptical at first at whether this film was going to be a waste of my good, hard-earnt money, I was gladly prooved wrong.
This film, starring the LEGENDRY ADAM SANDLER and the GORGEOUS DREW BARRYMORE, is about a guy who has had lots of previous short-term relationships with many girls, which is shown in a five minute medley of comedy. He claims he will never settle down, but when he meets Lucy (Barrymore) he instantly falls in love with her. Sounds familiar, doesn't it?
The film takes us on a journey, and we discover that Lucy has amnesia, meaning he has to win her over every single day.
This presents lots of funny ideas of Henry (Sandler) and these make the film worth watching.
Not only being a comedy, it is part romantic, and we see a different side...

Advantages: Good onscreen chemistry Disadvantages: not exactly ground breaking
...the daily romance seem all the more real.
As I said before I enjoyed this film a lot more than I thought it would. It is an easily enjoyable film with a real feel good factor and a happy ending. There is nothing particularly ground breaking here but in terms of romantic comedies it is one of the better ones I have seen. There is plenty of romantic gestures and heartfelt moments that even I noticed as well as the sort of childish comedy that gets me laughing every time.

Advantages: Fantastic Movies, Great perfomances and soundtrack Disadvantages: Might already have one of these DVD's
...**Whats Is It?**
This 3 DVD boxset is the female teenagers dream (believe me!) Containing the 3 classic teen movies "13 Going On 30" "50FirstDates" and "The Perfect Man"
**What's The Box Set Like?**
All three movies are in a yellow box with pictures of the main characters on the front. It has a shiny hologram at the right hand side. I actually don't have the main box any more as it think they look a lot better by them self. But it's still handy to have. They are stacked close together and look good.
**13 Going On 30**
*The Cover- Has the main character Jenna (Jennifer Garner) blowing a big bubblegum bubble. Very cute and sweet with a pink and white theme throught out the cover. This i suppose is to represent her teenage innocence.
*Who's In It- Jennifer Garner (Catch and Release, Daredevil) Mark Ruffalo (Rumour Has It, Just...
