This review is all about a dvd and bonus cd of 50 cent that i brought from a second hand music shop.

The DVD

This DVD was made in 2003/2004 so most things that i refer to from now on in this review relate to that time of my life etc. .

There are 4 parts to this DVD.

PART 1

...in detail the life of 50 cent, from when he was coming up in the streets as a nobody, to his dealings that led to him being shot and surviving, right through to what has made him the greatest rapper of the year. Also he talks about when he met "G-unit" , selling mixtapes to get his and their name out, signing up with eminem on shady records and dr dre on interscope records, and 50 cents upcoming album "get rich or die trying".

PART 1
The Documentary.
-------------------------
50 cent the new breed is the first documentary on this dvd, it explores in detail the life of 50 cent, from when he was coming up in the streets as a nobody, to his dealings that led to him being shot and surviving, right through to what has made him the greatest rapper of the year. Also he talks about when he met "G-unit" , selling mixtapes to get his and their name out, signing up with eminem on shady records and dr dre on interscope records, and 50 cents upcoming album "get rich or die trying".

Then in the second part there is an interview with Tony Yayo who is part of g-unit but at the time was in prison this interview is filmed from his prison cell in america.
It is generally about his life and when he met 50 cent and what he hopes to do in the future.
This is a lot shorter than the first documentary but is still worth watching.

PART 2
The Detroit Show
------------------------

The detroit show was one of 50 cent's first live shows with songs promoting his new album "get ritch or die trying", and a couple of songs from eminems new movie 8 mile due to be released soon The concert is filmed from detroit. Also G-unit, dr dre, eminem, D12, obie trice and the rest of 50 cent crew are all there and featuring on most of the songs performed.

this is just a promo CD with 3 tracks on it from the 8 mile movie i was dissapointed that they had not put a few more songs on the CD but i guess it is the DVD that is the main feature and this CD is to get you warmed up for the new album and movie.

what more can i say ............ i would recommend this to anybody who likes hip/hop or rap music like i said i got it from a second hand music shop about 2 weeks ago for about £5 and i think its worth every penny.
