There are so many reasons why this movie is one of my absolute favourites. I'd say the main reason is because it combines so many different genres into one film. It has romance, comedy, drama and even some action towards the end with car crashes and bicycle accidents! This film follows the life of a man called Andy, played by Steve Carrell, who is a 40 year old virgin. He works at a store called Smart Tech(basically something like Comet or Curry's) where his fellow workmates find out that he is actually still a virgin during a rather racy game of poker. They all tell their rather perverted sex stories and when he tries to join in he sounds more delusional than realistic when he describes a pair of breasts like a bag of sand! Suffice to say he falls for a nice lady called Trish who owns her own store. They go on date after date and they even make a deal that they won't have sex until the 20th date. Andy is terrified so he tries to make it longer and longer each time to get his way out of it and there are lots of embarrassing happenings along the way. This film really is a must see, it's absolutely hilarious.
