...A classic comedy. This film should not be taken seriously. This Mel Brooks film is one of the best western spoofs and ranks with Airplane in the spoof comedy genre. It’s the story of a little frontier town called Rockridge and the corrupt dealings of Hedley Lemar, the local vilan. Hedley convinces the Governor to send the town the first Black sheriff to combat the lawlessness (which Hedley is supplying). Obviously this is not something the white, God fearing population of this small town are expecting. The things to look out for are the numerous musical numbers, the surreal ending and the campfire scene.Some may be offended by its sometimes racist comedy.... Read review

Advantages: Stylishly filmed

...Ultra violent and stylish film noir, based on the Frank Miller comic. This movie follows the adventures of 3 main charcters through a lawless and dangerous city. Filmed against Green Screen the background looks superbly dark and exactly how it looked in the graphic novels the movie is based on. Robert Rodriguez holds no bars with the content of this movie, a peadofile, a cannibal who eventual gets eaten alive by his pet wolf, a 19 year old stripper who is in love with her 60 year old saviour and a neighbour in the city completely policed by a gang of ruthless hookers. Partly directed by Quentin Tarrantino this movie leaves little to the imagination when it comes to violence and you can really see why fans are desperate for a sequal.... Read review

...RoboCop 3 is the second sequel in the RoboCop franchise. It seems that over the years the RoboCop films went from retro classic to abismal cash cow. The film is still set in good old Detroit where the massive, capitalist corporation OCP (Omni Consumer Products) owns Detroit and is planning to destroy the old lawless neighbourhoods to make way for the 'New Detroit'. (This premise is in all three movies, this moive is based on them actually doing something about it instead of just talking about it) Mercenaries headed by a heatless captain have been throwing people out of the homes and packing them onto buses to make way for the demolition crews.
