Advantages: Engaging Story Lines Disadvantages: Lack of special effects due to production period
From the genre of horror, these 3classics can bring enjoyment to all those that appreciate horror of high quality. With the use of compelling storylines and gruesome images, the viewer is left always anxious at what would come next - that's how true horror began to develop. Through these elements, those who watch it forget the fanciful special effects that present day cinema offers and is taken in by this collection's creative brilliance.
All 3 movies in this collection engage the viewers irreversibly by their clever plot lines and cinematic professionalism. "Little Shop of Horrors" focusses more on the "horrible" part of horror movies, whereas "The Bat" proves as having more of a psychological effect on the viewers. "The Bride of the Monster" is for all those who are interested in the horror genre as a whole - one of the movies that ...
Advantages: rocky horror - Very original, funny, good soundtrack. Disadvantages: Shock treatment = v poor in comparison to rocky horror. just weird.
I watched the rocky horror picture show at a friend's house and immediately loved it! Whilst looking to buy the DVD for myself, i came across this dvd set, with rocky horror and the added bonus of a related "sequel" to rocky horror called Shock Treatment. I hadn't seen Shock Treatment but thought I'd like it, with it being so closely related and with a lot of the same cast.

It's a very strange storyline and downright weird at times, but in a cool way - newlyweds Brad and Janet become stranded whilst driving on their way to their honeymoon (i think that's where they were going..but it doesnt really matter if not). Anyway, to get help, they approach a castle they passed ...
Advantages: A Bucket of Blood and House on Haunted Hill Disadvantages: The Ghoul
A Bucket of Blood is one of my favourite classics. An enjoyable 'Wax Museum' genre that takes a slightly different approach. This time, the artist is actually very slow witted and has no talent, as you will see. He works at a coffee shop full of poets and art buffs and wants so desperately to join their world. So, one thing leads to another, and, if your familiar with the genre, you know how it goes.
House on Haunted Hill is one of the great classics of all time. A brilliant classic, but is it horror or is it murder-mystery. To answer that question, i would have to spoil it. So, watch and find out for yourself, you won't be dissappointed.
Unfortunately, The Ghoul is probably one of Karloff's worst. Karloff is one of my favourites, but he doesn't really act in this one. The story is very slow, and doesn't build up to ...
