Advantages: Great Classic story with a twist, and magnificent ending. Disadvantages: 3 hours 20 minutes- a bit long
...aspect of 1.33:1 together with the Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mix but there is also the 2.0 surround sound option which I prefer but the Dolby Digital makes great use of all the channels. With extra behind the scene footage and features including things like documentaries and creature manipulations and much more, this DVD just couldn't get any better.

Advantages: The best series ending of all time Disadvantages: The arrival of more long term stories
...And now its time to wrap up series 3 of Doctor Who’s reviews; and impressed as I was with the third volume of releases this forth volume blew me away.

The first of many revelations...

Advantages: Excellent pace, acting, directing, music. Will keep you on the edge of your seat. Disadvantages: A couple of cheesy alien side-kicks, and a slightly unbelievable future.
...of Utopia. Captain Jack (a favorite character from the end of season 1 and now stars in the spin-off show 'Torchwood') tracks down and rejoins the doctor when he lands the Tardis in Cardiff to refuel. They accidentally wind up in the year 100 trillion and find a professor trying to build a spaceship to take the remains of the human race to a place called Utopia. All is not as it seems though when Martha discovers a fob watch identical to the John Smiths timepiece in earlier episode 'Human Nature' which contained the Doctor's Timelord essence. As the true meaning of this fob watch is revealed, one of the doctors greatest and most menacing enemies reappears. In the next 2 episodes our heroes race back to present day London, to stop their foe before it is too late, and we finally learn who the shady 'Mr Saxon' really is. 3 episodes that easily...
