-Introduction-

The Sweet Smell of Summer and im stuck inside watching DVD after DVD because im that bored - at this precise moment, i happen to be watching 24 season 4. last week i was watching season 3, which is my all time favourite...action packed, filled with tension, and the amazing Idea of having the show follow real time, are just some of the things that this Show bring.

-Plot-

Each episode is about what happens in that hour of a certain horrific day - day 4 - 1.am - 2.am is just an example of what it would say. "day 4" represents the fact that it's the forth season - quite clever i though, and "1.am - 2.am" represents that fact that the episode takes place between these hours...each episode follows that same pattern, there are 24 episodes, hense, 24, and its the day starts on 1.am then the day will finish on 1.am

at this precise moment, i am on disk 4, although i have watched all 4 of the seasons countless times...24 is one of those shows, that you can just watch again and again.

On this season, the main treat is a man called habib Marawan, a terrorist trying to make all of the power plants in america melt down...each episode is packed with action, tension and shock, each episode ends in a cliff hanger, which makes you never watch to turn it off, although this may sound silly, its really isn't.

for those of you who ahve already watched this season im sure you would agree with me that the shocks in the season are completely shocking, and are not just little that make you think, "oh that wasn't very shocking"

the show consists of the main character, Jack Bauer (Keifer Sutherland) who is a federal Agent, working with a company called CTU (counter terrorist unit). the show follows the people working at CTU, Jack Bauer, the terrorist, the president, and the innocent people of America...

although, some aspects of the show are quite unrealistic, like on season Three, where, Chase Endumds' hand is axed off, and 6 minutes later he is in the operating theater...but alot of the time, you forget about those silly missconseptions and you just think, omg that may just died in a huge explotion...!!!

In all fairness, the fact that this man (Jack Bauer) keeps cheating death the way he is, is very silly to me, but, in each season he is fairley injurged so this makes up for that !!!
What also makes me think, is how do these people memorise all of the secert codes for everything, everything is about the codes, " Jack have you got the codes, Chloe i need the codes for this breif case, Michelle, whats the codes for station 3, i need you to type in all the codes to shoot this man, turn on this light switch, scratch my beard, eat this sheep and sit on this monkey..." well, you get the point. but let this put you off. like i said, you forget about all the bad things when the tension builds up...sometimes i find im just sat there shouting at the TV " Turn around Jack he's behinds you, the bombs about to blow up, Run jack, Run, ahhhh shit, look behind you, you stupid fuck head, he's gunna shoot you..." but im sure everyone does that (i hope its not just me)

The Terror-Alert Level has just been raised...
although retired from CTU, Jack Bauer finds himself in the middle of a terrorist plot after U.S. Secrety of Defence and His Daughter are Kidnapped. But It's soon evident that the kidnapping is part of a much larger plan, for every time jack thinks He's averted disaster, A new and more ominous plot is uncovered. As CTU races to figure out the terrorist's true objective it becomes clear that the events of this day have been years in the making and only a miracle will disrupt the scheduled attacks that the Terrorists hope will bring the country to its knees.

- My Opinion -

In my opinion (which is what this is), i beleive this is an outstanding DVD, and will really make you think, is this what really happens because most bits are very convincing. although quirky and sometimes unbeleivable, these things are very unforgetable, and you gather so much information that really makes you wonder about the positions of Federal Agents...of course CTU is a fitional place, but of course there is a place in which the american embasey can defend their country against terrorists, but , CTU is not the place where it happens !!!
This DVD will bring hours of enjoyment, and will really get your heart racing for more...thank you for taking the time to read my Reveiw on 24 season 4 (seven disc)
