Summary 24 is a truly brilliant and innotive series where events happen in real time. The show focuses on Jack Bauer and the events that happen to him and the people connected to him in one 24 hour period.
Plot At 12.00 Midnight on the day of the california presidential, Jack Bauer(Head of Counter Terroist Unit) finds out that an attempt on Senator David Palmers life could happen at any time, he also finds out that his daughter kimberly has snuck out and is missing and that someone at CTU(Counter Terroist Unit) could be working against him.
Positives Well the originality of the series is what really stands out for me, nothing like it had ever been done before on television. And in my oppinion season one is the best season out of all six so far, mainly because i feel the later seasons were slightly more repetitive and also because the first season manages to be action packed throughout without becoming too ridiculous or obscene.and all episodes were enjoyable The Acting is all well done and Kiefer Sutherland and Dennis Haysbert gave magnificant performances as Jack Bauer and David Palmer respectively.
Negatives No real main negatives about the programme but i think the lack of extras on the DVD was poor, and i didnt really like the packaging either, mainly because i dont like having to open up the whole boxset to get just one disc.
