I've been watching television all my life, but 24 was the first show that gripped me to the point where eating and sleeping became afterthoughts! Whilst watching this show unfold week by week as it's aired on TV might give it time to percolate inside your head like a fine cup of coffee, in my opinion there is simply no substitute for the total 24 immersion experience! That means turning off your phone, drawing the curtains, and letting Jack Bauer take you on a magical mystery tour of the deep, dark, and dirty world of terrorists in LA.
Series 1 was sublime in many ways. One of the greatest was simply that Jack and the gang were so unknown to the viewers. This the opening season of the show that changed the landscape of television. It's fast, it's furious and totally unmissable!

I see you've posted this as a DVD review, but you've not mentioned the DVD. Are there any extras? If so, what are they and are they any good?
