DVD Description
Created by legendary television producer Stephen J. Cannell (THE A-TEAM, HUNTER), 21 JUMP STREET took a MOD SQUAD-like premise and used it to explore complex issues facing teenagers and young adults. A group of young police officers is chosen to join a specialized team to go undercover in high schools and colleges. Their goal is to stop criminals early in their careers, before they're entangled in a life of illegality. With a cast headed by heartthrob Johnny Depp, 21 JUMP STREET never shied away from presenting storylines with controversial topics, although never in an exploitative way. The fifth and final season contains 23 episodes from the eventful show, as well as three episodes created for season four but aired during season five, including Depp's last episode, the controversial 'Blackout'. In this season, the team is made up of Doug Penhall (Peter Deluise), Captain Fuller (Steven Williams), Judy Hoffs (Holly Robinson Peete), and newcomers Tony 'Mac' McMann (Michael Bendetti) and Joey Penhall (Michael DeLuise).
Advantages: Johnny Depp, cast Disadvantages: possibly not enough variation between episodes
...This TV series is clearly from the 80's, and becasue of that some younger people may find it less easy to relate to.
But one thing is undeniable this is a fantastic show. The acting talent is phenomenal, not just Johnny Depp who is brilliant but the rest of the cast is also superb. The cast include,
Johnny Depp- who plays Tom Hanson and is now famous for starring in Pirates of the Carribean, Sleepy Hollow, Finding Neverland etc.
Peter DeLuise- playing Doug Penhall who has worked as a director and producer on Stargate SG-1 for many years now.
Holly Robinson- Judy Hoffs
Dustin Nguyen- plays Harry Truman Ioki who also starred opposite Pamela Anderson in VIP.
These four characters are young policeofficers that are working on a project (21JumpStreet) where they go undercover at high schools to try and stop drug dealing, prostitution...

Advantages: A lot of laughs for your money Disadvantages: Some "filler" episodes
...watched DVD extras before anyway.
In conclusion, this is a great addition to the first boxset, even if it's just for the fifth and sixth series - especially Rimmerworld and The inquisitor!...

Advantages: LOADS OF EPISODES; DIFFERENT Disadvantages: NO DVD EXTRAS MIGHT BOTHER SOME
...This has got to the best show ever made!!!
I don't think I need to go on about the show as if you're looking at this review you've most probably heard more than I can tell you.
I have bought all the Family Guy boxedsets and all of them are brilliant but not one has been more enjoyable to watch than Season 3. There's so many episodes and everyone is complete and utter comedy genius. I have honestly watched all of these about three times and I am still not bored.
I have to be honest though, to understand the show completely you have to watch the first series as the Third Season was the first boxedset I bought and I didn't understand quite a few of the jokes, but after watching the first season it makes a lot more sense and is much more enjoyable to watch.
I've seen all the Family Guy BoxedSets being sold for around £12 in shops...
