kits of the real thing, but the biggest surprise is that it actually improves upon the usual FIFA gameplay too. So if England does not win in real life, you can at least make sure they do in the virtual world. The lowdown:. In previous years, FIFA Word Cup games have meant little more than a cut down version of the existing FIFA game, however this version features not just the 32 teams from the finals but the chance to play as any of the other 95 countries from the qualifying rounds. There's even the option to replay historic World Cups - although only a handful of older players are included. In terms of gameplay things have been noticeably speeded up and there's even an alternative control system that exactly mimics rival Pro Evolution Soccer. PES fans will still be suspicious but this really is the best FIFA yet. Most exciting moment:Reliving the glory of 1966 with the current England team and then going on to do the same thing in this year's Cup as well!Since you ask:Many of the England team, including Wayne Rooney, claim to be video games fans and many have mentioned playing the FIFA games between real matches. The bottom line:A genuine improvement on FIFA 06 with the usual top notch EA presentation.Harrison Dent

Advantages: Better than I expected with good characters. Disadvantages: Some of the old sports movie cliches
...days for the filming so the match scenes are as realistic as you could ever get.
This movie doesn't really break new ground and is really just a new spin on an old formulae but it is an interesting, entertaining and heart warming story that you can't help but enjoy sort like Rocky but with football.
Watch out for Cameo's from David Beckham, Raul and Zinedine Zidane. Also Goal 2 is already in production (Santi is signed by Real Madrid) with firm plans for a Goal 3 also.

Advantages: Some decent footy action Disadvantages: Skips too quickly through the football timeline
...I have been let down far too many times when buying football DVD's. Why is it so difficult to make a definitive DVD charting the rise and rise of the beautiful game? This tries, and fails to do this; trying to squeeze the history of football into under two hours of action is similar to trying to rewrite the bible on the back of a stamp. There is far too much to cram in to justify such a title - The history of football is by far the broadest title possible for such an illustrious sport. Theres the odd worldcupgame here, the odd FA cup final here, but it flies through decades of momentous action in minutes, rather than the hours it would take to justify the films billing. And the distinctly English pespective (narrated by the distinctly annoying Alan Green) means that those St. Georges specs are applied to deciding which games make...
