...I know that WWF/WWE wrestling isn't everyone's cup of tea but, as a long time wrestling fan i think Wrestlemania X-7 encompasses everything about modern wrestling that makes it such great entertainment. This 2-disc DVD offers a great reason to get into wrestling. If it's action that your after then this DVD offers 12 matches (11 official matches & 1 bonus pre-event match) all of which are good quality. They range from the hardcore brawling of the triple threat hardcore title match between Kane, Big Show & Raven to the technical master-class between Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit. One of the highlights of the DVD is the TLC match which features more Tables, Ladders & Chairs than any fan could possibly wish for. Advantages: Great value for money with over 450 minutes of action!
Disadvantages: Specialised DVD, not everyones cup of tea. Does contain some stong violence and language.

...WrestleMania XX is a great DVD for wrestling fans, admirers and virtually anybody and everybody! It is a 3 Disc DVD Set which is also available on VHS. For a wrestling DVD it is more expensive at £29.99, or the deluxe set for £49.99, (VHS £25.99) but with over 450 minutes of action, it is well worth it. I feel I should point out here that WrestleMania XX has been given an 18 certificate due to the violent nature of the sport itself. Many children do follow wrestling but I would advise, if you intend to watch this with your children, preview it yourself first. (Especially any matches or backstage happenings.) Advantages: A nostaglic look back on Extrme Championship Wrestling
Disadvantages: Alot of there big stars don't talk on it such as Raven, Sandman and New Jack.

...to get fame they quickly became Extreme Championship Wrestling after Shane Douglas threw away the NWA title. ECW continued to grow. This DVD is an amazingly informative look into the most innovative wrestling company ever formed, it has interviews with a lot of there former stars as well as Paul Heyman himself. This DVD goes in-depth and follows ECW from its early beginnings right through to when the eventually went bankrupt. It follows all the stars showing how each one got bigger and bigger then eventually moved on to one of the big 2 at the time, it talks about WCW stealing all of there talent one by one. It is a very honest look at wrestling and why ECW failed when it could have so easily succeeded and still been around today. The DVD extras are very good with 7 extra ECW matches and some stories told by Jericho, Tazz and others.... Read review
