Advantages: powerful fast paced story, spellbinding. Disadvantages: needs to make clear that this is part fact, part fiction
...This is a powerful and addictive film to watch. Forest Whitaker gives an amazing performance as Idi Amin, the Ugandan dictator who rose to power in the 1970s. James McAvoy plays Nicholas Garrigan, a Scottish doctor who goes to Uganda and becomes Amin's personal doctor. The film uses the doctor to show what kind of man/dictator Amin is, plus all the lavish lifestyle he has become used to, is simply not worth it due to the bloodshed and corruption around him
Forest Whitaker plays this larger than life character with such passion and turly is the best performance I have seen in a long time. He was perfect for the role and this could be the role that Whitaker is remembered for. You become addicted to Amin, in the way the doctor does and you too go through the spiral of decadence and moral crisis the doctor does.

Advantages: It has a good cast and brilliant use of soundtrack. Disadvantages: The storyline is not that strong for a good film like this.
...This film version of Man About The House is good and but not very good. Although it does have a very good cast, the storyline is weak and confusing. As it very hard to get into. When I first bought this, thought it was going to be a pretty good film until I played it as it just got more and more confusing as it went along. I would only recommend this if you are a person who understands and gets into them easily as this one is one you need to know what everything is going on. The soundtrack and characters are very good but the storyline is the only thing that spoils the film. It does however fit into its genre of comedy and its decade as it was made in the 1970's. The film is probably aimed at middle aged people....
