A single DVD which contains 2 films. Both in black & white showing the stooges at their maddest.

Made in 1946, this film features Curly, Larry and Moe.
A Wannabe singer and Nightclub owner falls in love (eventually) and the 3 stooges who are working there as waiters, help them along as only they can with all the lunacy you might expect from the stooges.
Gags throughout and the slapstick is not contained to themselves, everybody ends up joining in.
Curly: Wait a minute. You know I'm temperamental
Moe: Yeah, 95% temper, 5% mental.
Film length 78 Minutes
This was the Last feature film for "Curly", (Jerome Howard) as he suffered a stroke in May, 1946.
Sadly Curly died 6 years later in 1952 aged 48

Advantages: Freddie Mercury...and some wonderful Brian May solos! Disadvantages: Rather pricey, not as much on the second DVD of interest
...singer in their 'Return of the Champions Tour.' Furthermore in 2002 Brian May wrote 'We Will Rock You' a rock theatrical which has played at the Dominion Theatre in London's West End. The run of four years has led 'We Will Rock You' to be he longest running musical to grace the Dominion Theatre's stage.

Their almost cult status led to the release of the 2002 DVD 'Greatest Video Hits'- a 2 DVD collection. Having paid £12.99 for the collection I was expecting great things, and I was not disappointed!
The first disc is the videos from the greatest hits CD, with the addition of 'Spread your Wings' and 'Tie Your Mother Down' but these, I found, were two great additions to the track list. Advantages: Great central performance, Gene Tierney, Disadvantages: A slightly weak supporting cast!
...will hold your attention throughout and Gene Tierny never looked so lovely!!
Although the disc does not have any extras you do get a very good transfer.A very highly recommended film then, especially on this DVD. A truly irresistably deliciously wicked film with a fine central performance!
NOTE ; In Martin Scorsese's superb documentary A Personal Journey Through American Movies, he included Leave Her To Heaven, showing clips which demonstrated the beautiful cinematography.
