DVD Description

James Marsden stars as Tommy, an ex-Marine who gets roped into going undercover in the old neighbourhood in this film from CRASH co-writer Robert Moresko. Giovanni Ribisi plays his cousin Joey, the slightly unhinged boss of the local crime family--they've been friends since they were kids. Brad Renfro is Vincent, Tommy's dim-witted younger brother and Joey's right-hand man after Tommy left to join the Marines. There are lots of violent flashbacks to when all these guys brawled around the old neighbourhood and went to mob funerals. Now there's a villainous Italian drug lord trying to seize control and a turf war is imminent. It's up to Tommy to take the drug lord down without getting his little brother killed or Joey arrested in the process. Piper Perabo (COYOTE UGLY) is Tommy's love interest, an attractive mob widow now tending bar at a strip club co-owned by the coke-snorting thug who killed her husband (Dash Mihok). Episodic and entertaining, 10th AND WOLF plays out like a greatest-hits collection of scenes from other mob movies, but this is not a bad thing. An array of well-known names show up in bit parts: Leslie Ann Warren is great as Joey's falling-down-drunk of a mother, Dennis Hopper is an old-time Mafia guy, Val Kilmer is a deranged bar patron, Tommy Lee is one of Joey's crew, and Brian Dennehy is an unscrupulous federal agent.

Review of Collateral Damage (Wide Screen) by  liquidbee

Advantages: Schwarzenegger Of Course.
Disadvantages: Lack of Extras

.... The music works quite well with the film but isn't really stand out, more mood music in the background. DVD Extras? This is where my U.S Version of the film is a let down, I hoped for far more, although the quality of the behind the scenes documentary is good, there’s just not enough. FEATURE AUDIO LENGTH COMMENTRY BY DIRECTOR ANDREW DAVIS. BEHIND THE SCENES HERO IN A NEW ERA INTERACTIVE MENUS CAST DIRECTOR / FILM HIGHLIGHTS So why such a slamming by the film critics? Well first of all I believe they were scared because of the connections to 9/11 and they did seem to forget the film was 'made' before it, not just wrote. I've read recently that 'The Sum of All Fears' was commissioned to be wrote on September 10th so that would seem a far easier film 'NOT TO MAKE' considering that films subject matter. Also the film was given extensive... Read review

great film, bit sick but hay!
Review of Wolf Creek DVD by  lorag1990

Advantages: great story line, just the right amount of gore
Disadvantages: you have to remember some of the start to understand the end

...Wolf creek is the story of three friends who take a road trip in the Australian Outback only to be find themselves in danger when they accept help from a seemingly friendly local. This film is great if you like sick films, the 'friendly local' is a sick and twisted man. The only thing i didnt like was that you really had to pay a lot of attention at the beginning of the film, which was that interesting, to sort of understand what had happened. If you dont like blood and guts it isnt a great idea to watch this film as it has a lot of gore and sick stuff. All in all a great film for horror film lovers.... Read review

This will Pacify you for a while
Review of The Pacifier DVD by  cutesally

Advantages: It has Vin Diesel in it
Disadvantages: has a predictable ending

...The Pacifier is a Disney movie directed by Adam Shankman. and starring Vin Diesel. This is a much different role for Vin but he plays it well. THE CHARACTERS LT SHANE WOLFE - VIN DIESEL Wolfe is a Navy SEAL and is very military minded, he is not married and doesn't have any children which is the last thing on his mind. His catchphrase throughout the film is "It's myway there is no highway with me" Everything he does and says is military connected. ZOE - BRITTANY SNOW Zoe is the eldest of the Plumber children and is a rebelous teenager with a grudge against Wolfe. She makes it quite clear from the start that she doesnt want him there but as time goes on she comes round to the idea of him being there. Her part in the film is mainly learning to drive which with the help of Wolfe she manages to do. SETH - MAX THIERIOT Seth... Read review
