DVD Description
Model Jerry Hall and yoga expert Vimla Lalvani lead viewers in an exercise program based on the ancient techniques of yoga, designed to improve fitness, posture, and concentration.
Advantages: Fun, encouraging and adaptable. The moves are really well explained. Disadvantages: Quite pricey (but I thought it was worth the money)
...I've tried a few fitness DVDs and this has been the best so far. As the bright pink cover suggests it's quite girly, but not to the point of that being a problem. It's split into several sections, which is great because you can mix and match depending on which ones you like best and how much time you want to exercise for.
I never stuck with any DVD before, but this is great because you can adapt it to suit your fitness level. It's really tough and I couldn't go all the way through when I first got it, so I did the warmup on its own every day, and 3 times a week I added one of the other sections on to the end. ...sang this title, originally sung by Fleetwood Mac : the video was designed to get an oriental touch : it won the best adult contemporary video from Billboards magazine in 1998.

10 : Runaway
Another version of the video : there are bits of moments when you see the band on stage.
11 : Radio & 12 : Everybody hurts (cover of REM) are taken from the MTV Unplugged in October, 1999.
13 : Breathless
I keep thinking of the Mad Max movies when I watch this video ! And yet, the video is not set in Australia but in California's Majave desert...

Advantages: Very good exercises for all abilities, very calming Disadvantages: The woman who presents it has an annoying voice!
...WHAT IS IT:
It is a mixture of the core firming and breathing elements of Pilates with the stretching and meditative aspects of Yoga. This DVD has a warmup and separate sections focusing on the abs, buttocks and a full body workout. There is also a partner or solo resistance stretching section. It is presented by Louise Solomon who claims to be the first person to combine Pilates and Yoga and the DVD was filmed in Byron Bay, Australia.
GOOD POINTS:
Unlike many workout videos, this is really easy to follow with Louise Solomon explaining at the very start the breathing technique in a way that makes it very clear how the breathing fits with the exercises. It sounds silly but it is often easy to forget to breathe whilst exercising particularly if you are experiencing some pain. Once you have got through the introduction and learned...
