10CC - Live In Japan DVD

Advantages: Great atmospheric and artistic Bond film

...Following a 2 year gap from 1965, Bond returned to the big screen in 1967 with this offering, You Only Live Twice, once again starring the charismatic Sean Connery, but with Lewis Gilbert in the director's chair for this one. The Plot With the Cold War ever intense, criminal organisation S.P.E.C.T.R.E. tries another tack. American and Russian spacecraft have disappeared in outer space, and they are blaming each other. Anxious to avoid all out war, Bond is dispatched to Japan to seek out the perpetrators. This time, he comes face to face with S.P.E.C.T.R.E.'s number 1, Ernst Stavro Blofeld, Bond's arch enemy. The Cast and Performances Connery returns again as Bond for the 5th time, in what was supposed to be his last outing as the MI6 agent. He went on to do another two Bond films. ...This was filmed live in Cardiff in 2005. This dvd is about £14.99 so it is cheap and definately worth the money! His facial expressions he pulls and impressions are hilarious. He explains things in a way that you have never looked at before with a sudden twist of humour. When he goes on about being in the restaurant with his wife and ordering the bill is one of the funniest parts in this dvd along with asking for directions and having the GPS system. He doesn't just get the crowds into fits of laughter but even gets himself laughing. I recently got this dvd and have watched it countless times and still don't find it boring even though it is almost 3 hours long! I would reccomend this dvd to everyone even if you haven't senn any of his dvds before because it is so good and you will really enjoy it. If you are really... Read review

Advantages: Funny, inline with the series of little britain
Disadvantages: live, different from the normal showing of the series, some of the same stuff

...Britain, Britain, Britain, Live, Live, Live, so after seeing this show live in a theatre, I thought it was really funny and hoped it would come out on dvd, so here it is, eagerly waited for. Little Britain Live, sees the old favourites brought to the stage by the shows creators, Matt Lucas and David Walliams, with the voice of Tom Baker, and supporting acting from Anthony Head. The costume changes are quick and were very much like they were live (no editing for the dvd) and the back drop is cleverly desgined, all in all a well put together show. If you like the tv and radio series then this is a good thing to watch, it fits in well with the show, the sketches make sense, and it sees the return of some of the favourite characters from series one and two, aswell as some of the newer characters from the later series.
