Glenn Close returns as the malicious fur-collecting fashion plate Cruella De Vil in Disney's 102 DALMATIANS, the highly anticipated sequel to the 1996 live-action blockbuster....
more...Pursuading the authorities that she has been successfully rehabilitated, De Vil is released from prison, seemingly transformed into a law-abiding animal lover, securely under the influence of Dr. Pavlov's psychotherapy. Under the watchful eye of her skeptical probation officer, Chloe Simon (Alice Evans), De Vil comes to the aid of a failing dog shelter run by Kevin Shepherd (Ioan Gruffudd). But when Shepherd is promptly arrested for the theft of dalmatians and Chloe loses her own dalmatian pups, including the spotless Oddball, De Vil comes under suspicion once again. Her new alliance with a French fashion designer, Jean Pierre Le Pelt (Gerard Depardieu), known for his unusual flare for animal fur, doesn't help her case. Set in Paris, 102 DALMATIANS is a lighthearted and humorous tale of animal rights and identity conflict that climaxes in a riotous frenzy of hilarious slapstick comedy and heartwarming fantasy.

This film is the sequel to the original 101 dalmations that was made in 1996, in this film cruella de vil (Glenn Close) is released from the rehabilitation centre and is suppose to have reformed herself, she then has to see chloe simon (Alice Evans) who is assigned to be her probation officer, as much as she is not keen to mind you and screams out cruella de vil is the most where cruella fills in the word for her.
After the second visit to the office cruella spots the dogs and one of the dogs recognises cruella and it barks continiously at her, next you know big ben starts ringing its bell, cruella starts to lose control of herself, and starts to see spots everywhere, as she leaves the building and steps outside everything she sees is covered in white with black spots and she screams spots, so when she gets home the reformed cruella is no longer reformed but back to her original self and she wants her fur and spots, she then meets the designer Jean Pierre Le Pelt (Gerard Depardieu)and well this is where the real action begins. Cruella also comes to the aid of sheltered homes for dogs whch she later gets the owner Kevin Shepherd (Ioan Gruffudd) arrested for kidnapping the dalmations. To add to the film their is a parrot who thinks he is a rottweiler and tries to scare people off with its parrot like type bark is a definatley one to see.
The film is set in london and also in paris, and packed full of barrels of laughs and comedy all the way through full of hilarious slapstick comedy, mischieviousness, and excitement which will keep the children amused all the way through out.

Excellent picture and sound quality ,also has the Special Features like How To Care For Your Dog, Exclusive Puppy Overload Music Video, Behind The Scenes And Special Effects, Creating Cruella De Vil, DVD ROM Dress Cruella De Vil.

My children absolutely love this film and cannot get enough of it, and is their favourite film of all times.

The scenes they love the most is the one when cruella gets released from the rehabilitation centre and starts to see her probation officer chloe simon and after the second visit when the big ben goes off cruella is back to being her old self and everywhere she looks she sees spots, their other most favourite scene is when she is put in the oven and baked into a cake with custard poured all over her, they where in stitches over that scene and full of laughter throughout the film.

It is an excellent film to watch as a family entertainment, it is a warm light hearted film about the rights of animal cruelty but expressed in a more suitable and ideal way for children to watch and express their own views and thoughts towards the concept of the movie, which im sure everybody will love to watch.

I would recommend this to everyone and any age from 3 and upwards. It is a great film created by walt disney and just hope their is another pre sequel to this film.
