Advantages: a nice DVD that shows the past of the knockouts Disadvantages: no longer reflect the current state of TNA's womens devision
...to the Knockouts (clips of the girls wrestling and posing)
*Universal studios photo shoot (photo shoot with all the girls)
*A bonus match between Gail and Traci (without a doubt the highlight for me)
*A sole collector photo shoot (another photo shoot)
this is a really greatDVD is you like the current knockout division in TNA and want to see its roots and where it evolved from. The TNA Knockouts prove that they are not 'Divas' and that they can wrestle in a ring. However this particular DVD does not highlight that fact. Its a fairly short DVD in just over 1hr and 30 mins. However for me there is just too much half naked girls posing for cameras and not enough fighting!...

Advantages: Great action, great price, no boring bits! Disadvantages: Could be longer
...Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) use the slogan 'As Real As It Gets' and this DVD showcases why they chose that as their tag line - this is Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) action personified!
Over the years UFC has changed a little bit and they do have some rules now - believe it or not! However, back in the beginning there were no rules - at UFC 4 (16th Dec 1994) you'll see Keith Hackney repeatedly punch Joe Son in the groin, but I digress - that's another story for another time!
This DVD release features 23 of the most devastating knockouts in UFC history. These guys will use anything to knock their opponent out - punches, kicks and even elbows - this is not for the faint of heart but IS for those like their fighting brutal and barbaric.
One of the least attractive parts of MMA has always been the amount of time some fighters spend...

Advantages: The American Dream, Inspirational, Disadvantages: None
...This film gave Sylvester Stallone a huge break, originally coming from a very poor background he scored a knockout when he wrote and performed in this film aged 29 years old.
This film seems like a family effort with his brother Frank Stallone as the corner singer and his father as the bell ringer in the final match!
The DVD is great as it includes many special features in celebration of 25 years since it came out. There is a monologue by Sylvester Stallone on the making of the film, original TV spots, tributes, trailers and a funny scene where Sly meets Rocky!
Unlike the following Rocky films the story features more then the action and this is what made it an Oscar nominated film. Watch it if you need inspiration or just to laugh at the comical parts such as Sly slipping on ice and Adrian's strange fashion sense!...
