101 Film Pack (Box Set)

Advantages: Fast paced, constant battles and a strong story line

...Both of these Dvds are excellent. They are fast paced and have strong characters. The story of the first film is of a martial arts expert who wants revenge on the man who killed his brother. To do so he must enter, and win the tournament of Mortal Kombat. He and 2 other fighters are lead by Raden the defender of the Earth realm into the tournament. The special effects in this film are cool and the fight sequences are fantastic. Different opponents have different powers such as ice and scorpion and their powers are animated perfectly. The second film, "Mortal Kombat Annihilation" continues the story after the tournament and shows how the fighters must now fight to defend their planet from invasion. Again, a fast paced, action packed film with great effects and fighting The films last for 101 and 90 minutes respectively... Read review

Advantages: Just an amazing piece of work. Great Acting
Disadvantages: Wanting to watch it over and over

...If you have seen the film "Saving Private Ryan" and you enjoyed that then you will love this. This box set contains all the complete series directed by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. The acting in the series is outstanding and the war scene's are very realistic. So if you don't like battle horror then this might not be for you. The story follows the life of easy company, 506th regiment of the 101st airborne division of the american army. from when they first meet in training to when the war ends and they take hitler's army out. This story takes them from their homes into d-day and straight through the heart of the front line. I recommend this to anyone who loves war films or programmes and i'm sure you will like it... Advantages: Action packed from beginning to end
Disadvantages: Some moments of the later films are a bit unbelievable

...This box set is a fantastic series of films. All four of these films are action packed from beginning to end. The films are highly entertaining and extremely watchable. I thoroughly enjoyed all four films. I think my favourite film was 2 because it was funny as well as packed with action. The plots are very well done. The main actor is Mel Gibson, he plays the role of Los Angeles policeman that doesn;t always play by the rules. His acting in all four films is excellent. I also thought that the acting of his partner was very well played. People that enjoy watching Mel Gibson films or just like well plotted action packed movies should definetley watch all four of these films. Overall i would give this box set of films 8 out of 10....
