pointless sequels to classic original films; however,101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventureis more than worthy of attention. Picking up largely where the first cartoon left off, all the familiar characters are present and correct, from the loveable puppies to Cruella De Vil, surely one of the great villainesses of all time. The most noticeable feature of the film is the superb animation, hand drawn and totally in keeping with the style of the original movie. In an era when computer-generated images are so dominant, this gives101 Dalmatians IIa feel that is both fresh and classic at the same time.The story, too, is pure Disney--a tale of one puppy's efforts to find his own identity and calling--but it has a fair smattering of the wisecracks that have characterised more modern successes, such asToy StoryandMonsters, Inc.The character voiceovers are noticeably short on big-name stars, but that at least ensures that the English accents are actually English and not some misplaced American interpretation. They may have missed the target on more than one occasion recently, but with101 Dalmatians IIDisney has got considerably closer to hitting the bull's-eye.

all different and possess their own unique personalities. This alone helps the story to be an all time classic. I personally love the puppies, each with their own personal traits. It reminds me of the other Disney classic, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Rolly is just lovable from the beginning, and I think you will agree; with his constant hunger and (mind the pun) puppy dog eyes.

Advantages: Good family film, nicely presented, lots of extras. Disadvantages: Games aren't very good, film's not as good as the previous two.

INTRODUCTION
I love Disney movies. Despite being in my thirties, some of my favourite films are officially kids’ movies. I loved the original 101Dalmatians and even the sequel that featured real ones!
So when I saw there was a new film out, I was looking forward to seeing it. As my ten-year-old daughter has loved Dalmatians since she was a toddler and has a large collection of cuddly ones on her bed, we decided to buy her the DVD box set for her birthday.
The film has now been watched by my eleven-year-old son, my ten-year-old daughter, my seven-year-old daughter and myself. They all love it – although my twelve-year-old daughter has shown little interest in seeing it. So what would I think?

DVD Description
Disney's classic 101 DALMATIANS lives on in this sequel that features the adventures of the young pup Patch. Here, Patch and his brethren are on vacation in Britain when Patch becomes separated from his family during one of his frequent daydreams about his television hero, Thunderbolt. Daunted by the prospect of being left alone in London, Patch miraculously lucks his way into meeting Thunderbolt and becoming his TV idol's sidekick.
