Advantages: lots of different and favourite nursery rhymes Disadvantages: graphics a bit basic - but good enough for kids
Yes, Bananas in pyjamas! Next in my nieces collection of DVD's, (she is so spoilt! all we had when we were young was a hand me down wooden noah's ark set with half the animals being either widowed, cyclops or having no eyes left at all).
Any way, This bananas in pyjamas dvd is aimed at 1 months to 6 year olds. It features all the favouritenurseryrhymes including incy wincy spider, little miss muffet and little bow peep. Theres also a good extra section on the dvd.
A classic bunch, B1 and B2 still loved by the youth of today. However i do have issues with thier morals, encouraging children to run around all day in their bed wear - not very socially acceptable in todays world. And does raise the question - what do they wear at night? - normal clothes, a suit and tie, jeans? .... ? one can only wonder!

Advantages: Teaches babies nursery rhymes; bright and colourful Disadvantages: Temperamental
"Twinkle twinkle little star
This is the most tedious toy by far?"
Well, ok, I would never make a living out of writing nurseryrhymes, but this has got to be the most irritating piece of kit in my son's toy box. It's not a toy, as such, but a nurseryrhyme book designed for babies over six months old.
I had been looking for a suitable book for my six month old son for a while but nothing really caught my attention. He had been given a few very simple books as presents, which were great, but I was looking for something a little different. Then one Sunday morning, I was doing the weekly Tesco shop (as you do) and took my usual detour through the baby and toy department.
I spotted the Vtech NurseryRhymes Book and decided to show it to my son who seemed to love it straight away. So that was it. Decision made - we were ...
Advantages: Lots of nursery rhymes Disadvantages: A couple of them are a little weak (but there are 50!!!)
This is a CD and DVD in one package and provides very good value for money. Lets start with the CD. As the title suggests it is full of nurseryrhymes, 50 to be exact, which are classically sung and fun for everyone.
However what sets this album apart from it's competitors is the fact that it comes with a DVD which is full of stories, songs and what they call learrning games.
The graphics on the DVD are very basic but then it is trying to appeal to a young audience so the simplicity works.
So is it any good? Well yes I think it is good. Out of the 50 songs there are a couple which are noot great but even taking this into account gives you 40 fun songs. The DVD is good to a point but it is more of a bonus. I would not suggest you buy this title for the DVD alone but as an extra it is very good value.
I would say that for any ...
